Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 beef bouillion cube
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes

Brown the ground beef, oil, onion and celery together. Add in the flour, salt and pepper and stir. Mix the water and bouillion cube, add to the beef mixture and stir until boiling. Put in a 1 1/2 quart casserole and top with mashed potatoes. Cook at 350o for 30 minutes.
