This recipe was given to me when I was attempting to low-carb it. Yeah, that didn't last long. The recipe is still fantastic, but not something you'd want to eat very often if you're lactose intolerant or counting calories. You'll see why.
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can tomato juice
- 2 tbsp. basil
- 1 tbsp. dill
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream (gah!)
- shredded cheddar cheese (gah!)
Mix everything but the cream and cheddar cheese together and heat thoroughly. When heated, add the cream, top with the cheddar and serve immediately.
