Mmm... leftovers. This dish is traditionally enjoyed after Thanksgiving or Christmas.
- 2 cups cooked turkey
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup chopped celery, cooked
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- biscuit batter (bisquick or whatever, make 1 recipe)
Put the turkey, soup and celery in a 1 1/2 quart (1.5 L) casserole. Stir in milk, salt and pepper. Heat in 400oF oven until bubbling.
Mix biscuit batter, and drop by spoonful over top of casserole contents. Bake in 450oF oven for 15 minutes or until biscuit batter is browned. Serves 4 - 6.
